Lions, tigers, and bears are all known for their carnivorous tendencies - but the Andean bear (also known as the Spectacled bear) is a bit of an outlier.

Fact: Meat only makes up between 5 and 7 percent of the Andean bear's diet. While they don't take the crown as the most vegetarian bear (that honor is left for the giant panda), they can commonly be found feasting on berries, cultivated plants, and even cactus. When they do get around to eating meat, their prey really only consists of rodents, nesting birds, and other slow moving animals.
