June 28, 2024: A disastrous landslide in Nookat District, Osh Region, Kyrgyzstan has resulted in the deaths of 8 individuals, including children. The catastrophe hit Abshyr-Ata resort, causing the destruction of 2 bridges and 10 electrical poles, and necessitating the evacuation of 1,300 visitors. This heartbreaking incident serves as a grim reminder of the severe climate changes currently taking place.
