Agriculture sector needs changing

Jessika Roswall should be promoting plant based agriculture to protect soil and water resources, not visiting Dairy farms. The Dairy industry is not sustainable, it produces methane and is responsible for most of the water pollution because of high levels of nitrates leaching into water. By visiting dairy farms she is saying that these problems can be managed, they can only be manage by reducing herds. Cattle also damage river banks and foul in rivers. There is just too much Cattle! >90%of Irish Beef and Dairy produce is exported- that is not sustainable.

Instead of simply promoting dairy, leaders like Jessika Roswall should be encouraging regenerative practices, agroforestry, and sustainable plant-based farming models that enhance biodiversity, restore soils, and reduce emissions.

The environmental cost of dairy and beef production is undeniable it contributes to methane emissions, water pollution, and habitat destruction. leaders like Jessika Roswall should be championing real solutions not supporting unsustainable industries.

This cannot be done by one person, we should all join forces and curb pollution and emissions of greenhouse gases. #WeCanDoIt

It's about time that we did come up with better ways of dealing with methane produced by the animals so as to help protect our environment.

@rosebell_nderitu . Yes we shouldn't condemn the animals but encourage the innovators to come up with scalable ways to deal with methane gas.
