Blatant greenwashing on Twitter
Saying "advancing climate solutions" but simultaneously investing in oil production is like trying to fix a vase with a hammer — it's extremely counterproductive.
ExxonMobil is not solving the climate crisis, nor are they anywhere near advancing climate solutions. They are in the oil and gas industry, which directly fans the flames of the climate crisis, worsening the situation and hindering our collective progress towards climate action.
This is how I see it: Imagine being a firefighter 👨🚒, and you look over and see somone (ExxonMobil) "trying" to to put out the fire, but instead they are throwing gasoline ⛽️ into the fire all the while they tell you that they're helping you to extinguish the fire 🤡🤡🤡
ExxonMobil, get rid of this Twitter header!! This Twitter header is greenwashing, and it's only fuel for climate change deniers.
