10kWp Solar PV Project : We don't have time to combat Climate Change.
Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics students under the JKUAT Association of Green Energy have noted that we don't have time in combating climate change. In this regard, we are spearheading a solar Photovoltaic 10kWp project at Gachororo Primary School to provide a clean source of energy in order to increase their hours of learning. Nevertheless, taking low carbon footprint sources of energy practically to pupils shall instill the mindset towards going green at an early age. This is done with the aim of fulfilling SDG 7: Clean and Affordable Energy. Student Energy are supporting this activity through the Guided Projects Program and it still needs further funding to bring it to fruition.
