Recycle and process the plastic yourself.
In tough competition, the chaff is separated from the wheat. Tomorrow's plastics industry recycles and refines itself - and K.D. Feddersen Norden has the machine solution.
- More and more end customers are demanding recycled materials for their products and that manufacturers should be able to take back the product for recycling after it has expired. We must start the value chain so that it is possible to take the plastic products back to industry, and for that processing machines are needed, says Torbjörn Egerhag, CEO K.D. Feddersen Norden AB.
From spills and debris to valuable granules
K.D. Feddersen sees two main areas for plastic recycling, firstly increased recycling in-house where companies recycle their own industrial waste and - in the future - recycling of their own products when they have served out.
- Today we recycle only a small part of all plastic consumed in Sweden so the potential is great. We see a sharp change in the demand for recycled plastic, which in the long term will create a profitability in the recycling of the same, says Torbjörn.
