Announces Australia-Singapore Collaboration On Green Shipping

Australia’s national science agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), on Wednesday 17th April 2024 announced the 20 million Australian dollar (12.8 million U.S. dollar) Australia-Singapore Initiative on Low Emissions Technologies (ASLET).

Under the partnership, the CSIRO will work with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on green shipping and port infrastructure initiatives and accelerating the uptake of zero or near-zero greenhouse gas emission technologies.
