🌪️💔 Powerful storms have caused extensive damage in the southern region of Brazil, particularly in Rio Grande do Sul. More than 48 municipalities have been severely affected, with winds of up to 133 km/h destroying roofs of over 400 buildings and obstructing roads with fallen trees. Approximately 500,000 households are without electricity, and the neighboring state of Paraná is also experiencing power outages affecting around 155,000 properties.
The urgent need for action in response to the climate crisis is becoming increasingly evident. It is time to bring together the global scientific community and establish an International Center for Climate Solutions. Let's set up a Worldwide Alert and Rescue Service to safeguard our planet and ourselves. Together, we can make a positive impact and ensure the survival of humanity. 🌍🤝
