Patricia Espinosa, a former UN climate chief warns of global impact that may follow after this year anticipated USA elections choices, and how the impact can be either positive or negative to all of us globally.... But she ends her call and advice saying all is not gloom if we can all work together to achieve the better goal towards effects of climate change,some which are already in pipeline to be achieved like 1.5c, etc.
I feel if USA make their right decession and choice, their choice have a certain important impact, that can potentially help more in terms of fighting climate change to the next level. Even if some policy makers "picture" are not all that clear for what they can do. Some of candidates already interested to "vie" there is that past experiences that must play a big role to the interested parties and individuals known intentions,and "if what if" overcomes all, then the voters should reconsider how will their cast vote will mean to their nation and world in general.
Still, Patricia emphasized to combat this, she called for businesses to play a greater role in pushing for a low-carbon economy. “We need to work closely with the private sector, make them aware of the important opportunities that the new [low-carbon] economy provides. There are profitable investments that protect nature and innovate technologies.
