Waste management is becoming increasingly important due to limited resources and environmental issues caused by landfills.
Landfills cause pollution of soil, water, and air, and contribute to climate change. One of the materials that ends up on landfills is glass, which can be recycled completely.
But recycling is not always easy because of for example dirt and mixed colors, and has to pass through several time-consuming stages.
That is why it is important to implement alternative methods to reliably, efficiently, and safely recycle glass waste, such as using glass waste in concrete, asphalt, bricks, tiles, foam glass and using it for water filtration and sandblasting.

I strongly agree with that. Glass window panes and door glass panel can be made from glass waste.

I remember learning the fact that sand is a finite resource and being quite shocked! The organisation Glass Half Full is working with recycling glass to fight sand erosion, it's quite cool: https://app.wedonthavetime.org/posts/898e024f-5fd5-45de-b7a5-097024734a3f

Glass plants uses cullets too for some portion but portion needs to be increased rather than mining sand which causes pollution.
