          Some companies have come to the realization that most consumers prefer eco friendly products. This is evidence that people are now aware and ready to contribute towards environmental conservation. However, some companies mislead the population that their products are eco friendly or that they meet certain environmental requirements so as to boost sales. With this ban, companies that publish misleading environmental labels on their products can attract prosecution and fines. This is a welcomed move EU. Kudos!
