I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Probitas Insurance and Zurich for their commendable steps in choosing not to insure fossil fuel projects. Their decisions to rule out insuring the East African Crude Oil Pipeline and other climate-wrecking projects mark significant progress in the fight against climate change.
Thousands of people worldwide participated in a global week of action, demonstrating and raising their voices, and it is encouraging to see this companies listen and take action. Their leadership sets a powerful example, and i would urge other insurers to follow in their footsteps and commit to protecting our planet.
Huge thanks for prioritizing a healthy, safe future for all. Keep up the excellent work! And all companies they should #MoveTheMoney from fossil fuels..... its possible and it will save planet a big time.
