Scientists researching on massive production of fly larvae to feed on animals and save amazon from deforestation.

The fly larvae will be fed to animals like chicken, fish and pigs, instead of soy - which has a massive environmental impact. Many farm animals in the UK are fed soy which has been linked with deforestation in the Amazon.

This research on the massive production of fly larvae as an alternative protein source for animals, particularly replacing soy in the diets of chickens, fish, and pigs, offers a promising solution to mitigate deforestation in the Amazon. By exploring sustainable alternatives, the scientists aim to address the environmental impact of soy farming, which has been linked to deforestation. This innovative approach has the potential to contribute to the fight against climate change by promoting more environmentally friendly practices in animal agriculture.
