11/03/2025 – Leaders of the 56 countries that make up the British Commonwealth met in Samoa and signed the first joint declaration on the oceans, called the Commonwealth Ocean Declaration for a Resilient Shared Future. The initiative aims to preserve the seas in the face of the challenges posed by climate change, pollution and overexploitation of natural resources.
