Different methods exist to remove pollutants from water and soil, including biological methods. Bioremediation is a biological process where organisms use pollutants as nutrients or energy sources to carry out their own metabolism. Bioremediation is an environmentally friendly method that produces only non-dangerous compounds like water and carbon dioxide, and it is a natural process without the need for chemicals that harm the environment.
