Traders and Residents Of Kitengela Choking In Uncollected Garbage

Traders and residents of Kitengela are grappling with garbage that has been uncollected for months. The rubbish is emitting a foul smell at the makeshift Kitengela Market with traders expressing fears of water borne diseases as a result of the garbage. The traders further lament that the foul smell from the garbage is keeping customers away hence reduced daily income. https://nation.africa/kenya/counties/kajiado/kitengela-residents-say-town-is-choking-in-garbage-4477360

The government of Kajiado should be ashamed of this unfortunate situation. This sounds wrong especially with the growth of devolution government and the funds given for such projects.

Absolutely unexplainable. Things like this are not only toxic to the people's health but also their emotional and mental well being. Our environments and how well we maintain them are a direct reflection of our own bodies.
