They have empowered 52000+ women to protect our environment

With International Women's Day approaching, let me present you with a great organization: Women's Earth Alliance. What they do is pretty cool: they empower women and communities to protect the environment, by delivering funding, and technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership training to women leaders worldwide.
While reading this review, you might just wonder what it means exactly. What benefits does training provide? Well, let me tell you about WEA Leader Melisa Mwimali in Kenya. Facing devastating droughts, water scarcity, and industrial logging that jeopardized critical forests, she decided to participate in a Women's Earth Alliance training in 2019. Since then, she has led her community-based group to plant 200,000 seedlings on deforested lands, installed 200 cookstoves for local families, and is now launching a sustainable poultry farm!

Overall, since 2006, WEA has catalyzed +52000 women-led environmental justice projects in 31 counties. In 2023 only, they trained almost 23000 women, converted 923 acres of farmland to organic, helped launch 2000 eco-enterprises, and grew 144000 trees.

Such an encouraging news .When women decide to do something, there's no turning back until they reach their goals and this is commendable .I believe by such organization women are forming which offers to train women and young females about climate change and the way to conserve it ,in future it will bring a great impact to the environment
