ExxonMobil given green light to expand development of Canada's Hebron Field!

It is so disappointing and heartbreaking to see Newfoundland and Labrador, along with the national petroleum regulator, approving Exxon Mobil's plan to develop untapped sands in the Hebron oil field, adding 165 million barrels of reserves. This company should focus on incorporating renewable energy sources like solar energy, wind energy and also Hydrogen.

It's disheartening to see a major player in the energy sector not fully embracing cleaner and more sustainable alternatives.

The expansion of oil and gas development is incompatible with the urgent need to transition to a low-carbon economy and mitigate the impacts of climate change!!

This is a project meant to harm the environment, having more oil fields opened is a stab to the green energy transition that all of us are trying to achieve.
