🌍 A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 hit the Kale region in the Malatya Province, Eastern Turkey on October 16, 2024. The quake was felt in neighboring provinces such as Elazığ, Diyarbakır, Urfa, and Mardin, causing widespread panic. Unfortunately, 187 people have been injured, with 43 currently receiving medical treatment. The transportation system in Elazığ has been disrupted, and schools in five cities are temporarily closed.
