The Cost of Courage....Doctors Should not Face Consequences for Climate Activism.
Healthcare professionals in UK, recognize the profound impacts of climate change on public health and the urgent need for action in protecting current generations and future generations from effects of climate change caused by fossil fuels, green house gases, etc. Recent cases involving doctors suspended for non-violent climate activism highlights a troubling trend, the penalization of those who dare to speak out against environmental crises that threaten billions of lives should be discouraged and STOP, actually your support to their call should be encouraged by you as regulator of the day.
With rising global temperatures and increasing health risks, civil disobedience has emerged as a critical tool for advocating change, and why such doctors take such steps? It simply says they feel disturbed and the only action they can take is to act. I call on regulatory bodies to support, rather than punish, those who stand up for a sustainable future.
So, General medical council of United Kingdom I humbly urge you unite with those doctors in the efforts to demand deep, rapid, and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. Your health and health of all citizens, and the health of future generations, depends on it. So consider fair justice to doctors that will be brought to your tribunal while they are fighting for a noble cause that affects all of us in one way or the other.

It is essential to support and protect doctors who choose to engage in climate activism. Their unique perspective and expertise can make a significant impact in raising awareness and advocating for environmentally sustainable healthcare practices. Punishing them for speaking out on such an important issue would be counterproductive and detrimental to the overall goal of addressing climate change.
