Julie Thibault-Dury's post

✨ As co-president of the GUG PTO, I'm thrilled to have been able to bring the
spirit to our school and Socrates Sculpture Park . When Pelin invited me to join her this year, I didn't expect to be able to organize so many events so quickly. In just one month, we've already organized a spring cleanup and we're now participating in the Halloween Harvest Festival at Socrates Park. 🎃 We'll have a booth there to showcase Growing Up Green's sustainable program, and we'll be hosting a Halloween costume swap. You can drop off your costumes until October 24th at: - Impact Hub : 417 5th avenue, NY - GUG 1: ES: 39-27 28th Street, Long Island City, NY 11101 MS: 34-12 10th St, Long Island City, NY 11106 Of course, Closiist offers beautiful 👻 silk Halloween costumes, but entrepreneurship is also about knowing how to share and give back to your community. That's where the idea for this swap came from, isn't it? I'm so grateful to Growing Up Green Charter Schools, Pelin Gurer, and Erin for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the PTO and share my passion for sustainability.
