Record year for wind farms raises hope for EU green energy goals.
A record year for building new wind farms and a rebound in investments in the sector have raised hopes that the EU may achieve its clean energy targets, industry group WindEurope said on Wednesday.
In an annual report, WindEurope described 2023 as a year of "significant improvements" in key areas of Europe's wind energy sector, which struggled in 2022 with soaring inflation, interest rates and volatile energy markets after Russia invaded Ukraine.
This surge in wind farm development and renewed investments in the sector, is offering hope for the EU's green energy objectives.

We need to deversify in sources, wind will get there.
More geothermal and nuclear investments are going to help to fully remove fossil sooner and with less peaking of prices.

@richard_burkhill there is some debunking needed.
Yet there really is an impact and the severity of impact and size are not easy to make yet.
70GW alone on the north sea is an industrial size.
