France to invest €100B to develop its railway infrastructure
French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne has announced the country's plans for the future of transport, which includes an investment of 100 billion euros between now and 2040 for the development railway infrastructure, including more and better trains and new train lines and destinations. In the plan, rail is touted as "the backbone of mobility" and "a key to a successful ecological transition".
