Psychological barriers are holding us back

On Sunday, I sat on this green sofa at COP28 virtually, stating that "It’s critical to address the psychological barriers that hold us back from implementing sustainable solutions such as renewable energy technology!” I also discuss what hinders us from successfully implementing measures toward a healthier planet in the Conclusion of my book "A Guide to a Healthier Planet". Psychological barriers are a significant challenge in climate action, as they can impede our ability to take action and bring about much-needed change!

To make things better for the environment, it's important to understand and deal with the mental hurdles that might be holding us back.

I quite agree that psychological barriers have been an issue in the green transition. It all starts in the mind and of our minds are unwilling to make a change then we might be here for a while. Time to change our views

@jane_wangui That is a very good question! I have explained how we can do this in the Conclusion of my book "A Guide to a Healthier Planet". It also contains simple exercises to get over these barriers so that you can move forward. Here is the book: https://www.sustainabledecisions.eu/guide-to-a-healthier-planet
