Berte Qvarn is participating in an exciting project within alternative protein sources

Berte Qvarn participates in a LIFE project together with the municipality of Falkenberg and the company Mycorena, which is a startup company with mushroom protein for food as a business idea.
The idea is to use side streams from Berte Qvarn as a base in Mycorena's production. In the first place, oat husks are relevant, but it can also be about side streams from the wheat mill. The work has been granted by the European Commission and a three-year project.
The EU's environmental fund, LIFE, co-finances projects that develop or test new innovative solutions, techniques or methods.
