🔵 France. July 20-21. #storm
After two days of intense heat, Météo-France issued an orange alert for thunderstorms in 15 departments. Storms with heavy rain and powerful wind gusts spread between the central and northeastern regions, also affecting the Massif Central. Wind speeds in Clermont-Ferrand reached 107 km/h. Some streets were flooded. Additionally, severe hailstorms impacted the A75 motorway, causing significant damage to vegetation: broken branches and trees. Road signs were torn down. Some homes were left without power.

🔵 Russia. July 21. An extremely rare weather phenomenon for Siberia. At the Novosibirsk Reservoir, residents of Novosibirsk captured a #tornado on video.
🔵 Russia. July 20. In a village near Saratov, a hurricane #wind damaged a gas pipeline, power lines, and ripped the roofs off 6 private homes and a cultural center.
🔵 Austria. July 20. #flood #landslide
Heavy rains caused floods and landslides in Carinthia and Styria. In Judenburg, basements were flooded and roads were destroyed. In Feldkirchen, a car got stuck in a tunnel. On the B93 highway, pipes burst due to the downpour. In Tyrol, landslides blocked several roads.

🔵 Slovenia. #flooding After a prolonged spell of dry and hot weather, parts of Slovenia were hit by storms with heavy rain and strong winds. In particular in the north, several buildings and roads were flooded or blocked by landslides and rescue teams were busy helping young foreign scouts caught up in the #storm.
