Kerosene from CO2, water, and sunlight is a great alternative to fossil fuel based kerosene

CO2 emissions are a major factor causing global warming, and reducing CO2 emissions is critical. One of the industries that can contribute a lot is the aviation industry, for example by using different fuels. A relatively recent solution is using kerosene created from CO2 and water molecules with the help of sunlight as renewable energy source. This kerosene can replace existing global jet fuel infrastructures and engines! Learn more on how kerosene can be produced from water, CO2 and sunlight:

Governments have committed to work towards net zero emissions from international aviation by 2050. Tremendous progress on the development and implementation of sustainable aviation fuels has already been achieved, but much more remains to be done to ensure that they can contribute fully towards this decarbonization goal. ICAO is working closely with academia, operators, and civil society groups to identify new opportunities and advocate for the policies and investments that they require. We welcome support for our advocacy in this area, which is explained in more detail on our website. - William Raillant-Clark, Spokesperson, ICAO

Kerosene burnt still releases Co2 we have passed this point and need to draw down Co2 to keep 1.5c alive. Not a GREEN alternative.

As a renewable source of power, solar energy has an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change, which is critical to protecting humans, wildlife, and ecosystems. Solar energy can also improve air quality and reduce water use from energy production
