Possibility of Increasing the sunlight capture by 66% by solar cells

Increasing the efficiency of Solar Cells is one of the major challenges of solar energy sector. The solution may be found in the innovative "textured" solar cells. in a theoretical experiment, it has been found that solar cells with hemispherical shell shaped bumps can be 66% more efficient than its flat counterpart. The lab scale and pilot studies shall show the feasibility and practicality of this excellent theoretical study.

      We harvest very little in regards to solar energy. There was a concept of solar panels that harvest more power through the technology of acting like sunflowers and turning in whatever direction the sun is in, in turn increasing energy production by a huge margin.
