There is no solution in sight for a less highCO2 large volume air transport. The wasteful short airflight should be banned. The trourist flights should be heavily penalized. Instrad there is still no tax in Germany on cerosine due to a FDP initiative some many years ago, when its head was keen on flying. Yes, the FDP again.

It is uncomfortable/terrible for the airlines. And you can argue if this is the right measure. But I strongly believe that this is whats needed: Regulations from governments that demands innovative changes that gives us new tools to this “new” and enormous problem - climate change driven by CO2
