🌊🌍 On the morning of Saturday, September 21, 2024, the water level in the Danube River in Budapest rose to an unprecedented 830 centimeters (over 27.2 feet), posing a threat to the city's riverside areas. Although the water has started to go down, the flooding caused by Storm Boris has affected several important landmarks, including the steps of the Parliament building. A gradual decrease in water levels is anticipated in the next few days.
