The sunny day floods - another boiling frog syndrome of climate change.

The scariest nightmare never takes the scene in a dark storm night with deafening lighting in the sky. It happens on a sunny day with a clear sky when danger comes out of nowhere. And this horror scene is happening in one of the North Carolina beach towns.

The cause? Sea-level rise. Climate change. 
 
On a lay-back sunny day, everything seems so peaceful and perfect. But a threat is lurking. 
In just a few hours, a particularly high tide would once again arrive and overwhelm its outdated infrastructure. Watching this 👇 video captured by scientists makes me wonder: 
how many places in the world are experiencing the same?  If we don’t react quickly enough, will we end up like the boiling fog?
