Surprise surprise (no), a major French media illustrated (again) the climate emergency with a beautiful picture of people having fun and playing with water... According to the latest forecasts, France will experience this week a very early heatwave (between 35 and 38°C... in June... in spring...). "The thresholds of heat wave could be reached or even exceeded". The maximum temperatures should reach or exceed 35 to 38°C and even reach 40°C locally. This heat wave comes after a particularly hot and dry spring, which has caused a heavy drought in France. Despite the rainfall recorded last week on part of the territory, "we remain in a very worrying situation with extremely dry soils and this will not help the situation", notes Frédéric Nathan, forecaster at Météo France. Quite ironic to represent this heatwave with people having fun wasting water, isn't it?
