A methane satellite launched to track the biggest polluters of oil and gas in the world

METHANESAT a satellite designed and built by non-profit Environmental Defense Fund in partnership with New Zealand Space Agency at a cost of $88 million was launched on Monday from California in a SpaceX rock. MethaneSAT will track methane emissions and name and shame the worst polluters of oil and gas industry around the world.
