⚡️ Meet the crew behind Start-up Energy Transition ⚡️: Today René Böhm
👨🎓 René is a qualified event manager and studied business administration at the HWR Berlin with a focus on business informatics, social entrepreneurship, and marketing. During his studies, he also spent a semester in New Orleans. After graduating, René’s trip with German telecommunications giant 1&1 led him to join the German Energy Agency (dena)'s communications department. For over 5 years, he's been actively involved in SET projects, and is responsible for:
🎯 Further developing our SET Global Innovation Platform, its sister project SET Hub which focuses on the national level, and Tech for Net Zero.
🎯 Managing the networks and stakeholder relations for the new digital technologies & start-up ecosystem department, with a clear focus on the Future Energy Lab in Berlin.
René’s passion for innovative solutions and the future of Berlin perfectly align with his current responsibilities within our team. 👏
And, as a true Berliner, he takes a keen interest in the city’s electronic music scene and is one of the few to support both Hertha BSC and Union Berlin Bundesliga teams.
