At the Dragonfly's Den on the COP27 Climate Hub, November 9: Karsten Hirsch, CEO and Co-Founder of Plastic Fischer pitched their local, low-tech and low-cost solution to river plastic pollution. Their river cleanup technology can be produced anywhere, without big costs or technological investments. Most of the plastic pollution comes from rivers so this has a big impact for a low cost. Big clap for this pious and life-giving work.👏 A question to team Plastic Fischer: Every day, plastic waste negatively impacts the ecosystem, habitats, human health, and sustainable development across the world. Despite the vast scale of the problem, the general public and other important stakeholders have not been adequately engaged and educated on how they can become part of the solution. Do we have any system in Plastic Fischer to make people more aware of this hazardous way of pollution side by side doing this great job?
