CARBIOS gathers stakeholders to boost textile circularity with Minister Le Maire's backing the eco friendly innovation.

CARBIOS, a company focused on making plastic and textile recycling more efficient, recently hosted an event attended by Mr. Bruno Le Maire, France's Minister of Economy and Finance. At the event, CARBIOS showcased its efforts to create a system where textiles can be recycled and reused more effectively. They highlighted the construction of France's first facility for recycling a type of plastic called PET using enzymes. This development is seen as a big step towards making industry more sustainable. Minister Le Maire's presence at the event demonstrated the government's support for CARBIOS and their work in promoting recycling. Overall, the event emphasized the importance of recycling textiles for protecting the environment, boosting the economy, and creating jobs. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2024/02/19/2831040/0/en/CARBIOS-rallies-players-to-promote-textile-circularity-sector-in-the-presence-of-M-Bruno-Le-Maire-Minister-of-Economy-Finance-and-Industrial-and-Digital-Sovereignty.html

@rukia_ahmed_abdi Africa has become a dumping site for textile waste from the West and Europe. Its clogging our drainage systems and polluting our rivers. Such innovations are a great milestone in addressing this. Good work Carbios.
