🌪️ Tropical cyclone Helen has struck Georgia with winds reaching Category 2 strength, causing heavy rains and sudden floods in Atlanta. Regrettably, 11 individuals have perished, including a valiant rescuer. Firefighters have been extracting residents from inundated apartments in Buckhead. The majority of Atlanta is now under a state of emergency, with more than a million people left without electricity.
