LET CONSUMERS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUYING /CONSUMING

Blow to Coca Cola as Supreme Court dismisses appeal on Sh8bn bottle case.

If you have noticed recently coca-cola products i .e.fanta,krest coke e.t.c on their glass bottles they have not included the nutrition value content e.t.c on those bottles as they have on their plastic ones,The petition was filed and the courts have ordered them to include the same information on their bottles so that consumers can know what they are buying. In their argument the company seems to want to continue with the use of plastics but they should know there are alternatives that are there and that should be in place. The company should shift and not use the plastics considering the amount of pollution they cause.

Great for Kenya's judiciary to stand with the right thing, consumers have a right to know what they are consuming. Furthermore the company must stop the use of plastic bottles for packaging no matter the cost for the sake of our climate.

This news highlights a setback for Coca-Cola, as the Supreme Court dismisses their appeal on an Sh8bn bottle case. The case revolves around the absence of nutritional information on glass bottles compared to plastic ones, prompting a petition for transparency. The courts have ruled in favor of consumers, emphasizing the importance of informing buyers about what they are consuming.
