El Niño is back: Surging temperatures bring extreme weather and threaten lives

El Niño is currently underway, and the UN’s World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is warning that it could threaten lives and devastate agriculture in some parts of the world.  The global weather phenomenon refers to when waters in the Pacific Ocean become much warmer than usual. https://www.euronews.com/green/2023/10/20/el-nino-is-back-heres-what-it-means-for-extreme-weather

What does the world meteorological organisation deserve a climate warning for? They only study and report on the weather they don't cause el niño

The return of El Niño and the surging temperatures it brings are a cause for concern. It is crucial to take measures to mitigate the impacts of El Niño and adapt to the changing climate patterns it brings. Drainage plays a big role during this period.

It's disheartening to witness the return of El Niño, as rising temperatures contribute to extreme weather events, putting lives at risk.
