The Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) wind farm, located 15.5 kilometers off the coast of Fife, has begun supplying power to Scotland’s national grid, with full completion expected by summer 2025. Once operational, the facility will feature 54 wind turbines generating 450 MW of renewable energy, enough to power approximately 375,000 homes. The project is not only focused on energy production but also aims to support local communities, contributing to various initiatives and businesses in the region.

As Scotland moves towards its net zero goals, initiatives like this are essential for sustainable growth. They not only provide clean energy but also create jobs and foster community development, demonstrating that environmental progress and local prosperity can go hand in hand.
