10/11/2024 – Researchers at the Hubei Laboratory of Wetland Evolution and Ecological Restoration have come up with an innovative approach to address the growing microplastic pollution: phytoremediation. This technique exploits the natural abilities of certain plants to absorb, stabilize and degrade micro- and nanoplastics, emerging as a promising green solution to the widespread problem of plastic waste in ecosystems.
