I propose the following measures: 1. Promote community-based rainwater harvesting: Encourage the construction of rooftop rainwater harvesting systems in residential, commercial, and public buildings. Provide financial incentives and technical support to facilitate adoption. 2. Develop large-scale water storage infrastructure: Invest in the construction of strategically located reservoirs, dams, and ponds to capture and store excess rainwater. This will help to recharge groundwater levels and maintain water supplies during droughts. 3. Reforestation and watershed management: Implement reforestation programs to increase vegetation cover, reduce soil erosion, and enhance water retention capacity in catchment areas.
