This Optician uses degradable plastic made from cotton fibers

Swedish optician Nividas used to make glasses from plant cellulose to be more sustainable, today they use a new biodegradable acetate for the frames. This plastic is made from cotton fiber. - We see it as a matter of course to always try to get a little better with each collection. As a company, we need in every possible way to do what we can to help our customers make smart and sustainable decisions, says Nivida Eyewears CEO Malin Markerud. It’s inspiring to see a company put the effort in to be sustainable, and keep working to improve instead of just settling for doing okey. Other brands should be inspired by their work!
