During the rainy season, alot of water is wasted and when the dry season knocks on our doors, we do not have water to use. Most of this water could be collected by all means possible for future use.Such measures could boost agriculture by producing more food hence creating food security. The government of Kenya investing in such methods is a opportunity for growth.True, Climate change is here and we need to adapt for us to survive. Water is life!! and should be treated and well preserved. Vulnerable communities in Kenya will benefit from this, before we have suffered drought and it is about time to end that.https://news.cgtn.com/news/2024-07-25/Kenya-banking-on-sustainable-water-conservation-to-tame-climate-crisis-1vwNnPa89zy/p.html

I think it would be good to install a dam and purification facility! Africa has more rivers than you think! This is an advantage!

Preserving rainwater for the dry season can be an effective solution for clean water short-termly. At the same time, the government should think of long-term strategy as well, for example how to improve the land/soil's ability to hold the water. Recently, I watched a documentary about Holistic management that explains how important the grassland is to fighting desertification and dry season, especially in arid or semi-arid land like Kenya. https://app.wedonthavetime.org/posts/007c1b76-6bc0-4a01-8441-d42079fe39e7
