On June 28, 2024, New Delhi experienced heavy rainfall following a period of extreme heat, leading to a partial roof collapse at the city's main airport. One person tragically lost their life, eight were injured, and four vehicles were damaged. The Indian Meteorological Department recorded an unprecedented 148.5 mm of rain within just three hours, resulting in a total of 228.1 mm over 24 hours—marking the highest June rainfall in 88 years. 🌍
