Wastewater is a valuable resource and should be put to good use

Last year's heat waves have reminded us how important water is for us all to survive. It has even been declared a human right at the United Nations General Assembly in 2010. 

Unfortunately, our water resources have not been treated well, and the fast-growing population, over-exploitation of natural resources, and water pollution have reduced the amount of available pure and unpolluted water, and increased water scarcity.

To make sure this scarcity is addressed and this human right can be met, one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals addresses this: clean water and sanitation. One of the ways water-use can be made more efficient is reusing water.
