It's distressing to hear about the threat to Kaya Forest. Preserving natural habitats like these is vital for biodiversity and ecosystem health. Hopefully, there can be a balanced solution that considers both environmental conservation and infrastructure needs.

I do not approve of this, the project should be canceled for it will lead to forest destruction and loss of biodiversity

@elizbeth_gathigia if they don't find alternative methods to install electricity they should cancel the project not destroy the environment

What exactly are we trying to achieve here? So much of our diversity will be lost.Kplc needs to stop this

What an absolute menace. We call upon the authority to cancel this project with immediate effect. It will be such a loss to biodiversity and nature and we cannot allow it

Interference with a natural ecosystem to bring electricity is jnvalled for. The project should be stalled

@esther_wanjiku_785 it's either they find an alternative means to bring electricity or they cancel the whole project

This is irrational, whether we need light or not they should not interfere with the environment! Those doing it should face the music.

They have been doing this for a long time, and it is about time they stop this & explore alternative routes and solutions that do not harm the forest and our ecosystem. ⚠

This is absurd how can they do this? the trees are more important than the electricity this is just pure corruption it's not about the electricity.

@zelda_ninga_442 Since my child hood have always seen KPLC cut down to pave way for their lines and i think it is high time they find other alternatives!

A condusive environment for all is more important than any electricity transmission lines...other sources of power could be established as an alternative source of energy .
