Charles Santiago of DAP has urged Malaysia to adopt China's approach to renewable energy development. He expressed concern that Malaysia is lagging in implementing effective renewable energy policies and has fallen in the 2024 Climate Change Performance Index, highlighting the need for more decisive action.

By prioritizing green technologies, Malaysia could attract foreign investments and foster a more sustainable economy.
