Millions of people in Europe and the African countries of the Maghreb are experiencing an intense heat wave and are reporting new temperature records in the history of observations

This week, temperature records (in the shade) have been updated in a number of regions of the following countries:

🇲🇦 Morocco +46.4°C
🇮🇹 Italy +42.5°C
🇬🇷 Greece +41.8°C
🇲🇰 North Macedonia +41.2°C
🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina +40.8°C
🇧🇬 Bulgaria +40.5°C
Romania +39.4°C
🇭🇺 Hungary +39.2 °C

It should be noted that we are talking about record temperatures in large cities, for example, in Algeria, the absolute temperature record remains from 2018, when the temperature in the city of Ouargla reached +51.3 °C, and the updated record of the city of Beshar, near the border with Morocco, is on the list.
