Slovakia. Somewhere it’s hot, and somewhere it’s not just showers and thunderstorms, but real disaster. In the town of Brezno in the Bansko Bystrica region, the hurricane brought not only heavy rains, but also hail the size of a chicken egg.
Throughout the city, windows were broken , holes appeared in the roofs of houses, hundreds of cars were damaged , and dozens of trees were broken . The mayor of Brezno assures that even inveterate old-timers will not remember such horror. Local police, rescuers and technical services are trying to help citizens eliminate the consequences, but there are not enough workers.
